"The old year has gone.
Let the dead past bury
its own dead."

My darling girlfriends, it is the last weekend of the year, and it has been absolutely perfect.
♥ This weekend I felt a brief sense of sadness and loss... To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself. I dared to look out entirely for myself, to take responsibility for my own progress. You see, sometimes you need people in your life who will calmly call your bluff; other times you need people who will make it happen even when you've stopped believing.
♥ This weekend I felt entirely enveloped by a love so strong it must have unhinged my soul. Sometimes the people who bring out the best in you are not perfect, but they will always be perfect for you. These are the people who need no facts, only interpretation.

2012 was a great year.
2012 taught me that when you have someone to share your downs with, they are not much different from your ups. Truly.
2012 brought laughter and joy, passion and devotions. 2012 fulfilled so many needs.
And so I want to bid a very proper and very fitting farewell to 2012 and all of its memories...
Solid flesh can never live up to the bright shadow cast by its absence.
Time and distance blur the edges; then suddenly the beloved has arrived,
and it’s noon with its merciless light, and every spot and pore
and wrinkle and bristle stands clear."

PS Two great movies that ended my year... Brothers and The Notebook. Oh. Heck. Yes. Please. :)
2012
taught me that not everything is probable or likely. You may treat a fact with imagination, but never treat imagination as though it were a
fact.

and it’s noon with its merciless light, and every spot and pore
and wrinkle and bristle stands clear."
