Why I Love Kitty

(¸.·♥ The other day while visiting the lovely Ebony & Ivory  blog, I experienced a massive dose of cute overload when I discovered her kitties were just as imposing and cuddly as my own!  So this post is for my fellow kitty cuddle-ers; if you have ever loved a kitty you will know exactly what I am talking about.

I love the way my kitty...

... appears out of thin air. I think she's been practicing her magic!

... stalks the piece of string I tie around my belt loop while I'm cooking.

... ever so innocently struts all over my neat little piles of craft supplies before flopping down lazily on top of whatever I am making, and softly whispers that I should pay attention to her instead.

... spa's all day; she divulges in relaxation and understands the importance of good hair.

... swears at the veterinarian and mashes her head into my belly (she knows I would never stick anything up there!)

... reaches all the way to the top edge of the dining room table and precariously feels around with one paw hoping to sneak away a goodie (you're not fooling anyone, Kitty!).

... refuses to think she is anything other than a little person and proves her point by feeding herself with her paws.

... sunbathes on the opposite side of the room; then gently "mrrr's", blinks, and extends her jazz hands summoning me to come over (somebody's gotta rub that sweet tummy!).
