OoooH this post is SO lovely, for some reason, it makes me feel like I'm on the Bachelor (receiving the final rose) for so reason hehehe....! Ok ::smiles::, I've never dared, but rather always wanted to just stick to the "traditional setting," BUT I will accept the challenge (on today) and pick...........................................surprisingly? Tuscany, Italy. Such simple beauty and elegance. I thought about Paris, France but my mind kept drefting off into prom night; big flowers and big bows.
Cool post! Hope your weekend is going lovely :)
tee hee, I think I will actually go with Maldives myself!
Too bad by the time I can afford it, it will have sunk to the bottom of the ocean :)
O my goodness these are so glamorous! And yes I've always wondered how to do a wedding a bit differently and my favourite wedding dress colour would have to be yellow like that gorgeous shade in the pictures below.
what a great post! love the first look! daring indeed but gorgeous and so original :)
These are absolutely gorgeous! I love the Maldive Islands dress....My daughter, Mia, is getting married in the summer of 2011 and she didn't want a white dress. We already bought her gown (ordered it) and it's a gorgeous champagne color with an under-slip of rose and gold! It has champagne pearls! I can't wait to see her in it all...aaah.
I am definitely not that daring, but for our 10 year anniversary we plan to renew our vows. I will be daring then:)
*love* this -- The pairings are so fab! And PS: thanks so much for all the blog love -- comments are so fun!
Wow, a gorgeous post! The Maldives dress is stunning, but if I actually had to choose one, I think the Nova Scotia palette is more my style, and are those birds nest centrepieces??
Personally I plan on having an ivory dress, but I would like a bit of colour in there somewhere, like a sash or underskirt or something.
What a lovely post! Hope to see your collection of hats very soon ;-)

So glad you liked the look on my blog! :)
I love, love, love the dress and colors in your Maldive Islands unconventional wedding dress collection! :)
Your blog has such a lovely, clean and unique layout and I simply love it and the music!
Liesl :)
Yes, of course (if I have the money to afford all my wildest dream). I'll just fly to Maldives and have my dreamy ceremony.
