(¸.·♥ I am not a morning person. I do not wake up at the crack of dawn full of energy and enthusiasm. I am not one of those bouncy happy people that blasts the radio and dances around my kitchen using my spatula as a sub-microphone while frying bacon and eggs early in the morning. No. That is not me. Infact, I quite... hate.those.people. [UPDATE: totally teasing about the 'hate' part; just don't wake me up in my own house :) ]
Instead my mornings are filled with a blissful state of inactivity. Throughout my metabolic depression I experience periods of spontaneous awakenings only to fall back into a comatose slumber. I stretch, I yawn, I set the television to play a movie classic, and ten minutes later (after having repositioned myself for the umpteenth time) my body tapps back into it's natural energy reserve and I sleep some more. And some more. And some more.
And when I do finally awaken... I AM HUNGRY!
It is almost 11am and surprisingly I am awake, although technically I am still in bed (cozy between my pillows and blanket with my laptop) and admittedly I have no intention of leaving my little nest for at least another couple of hours. Boyfriend is in the kitchen and the wonderful scent of waffles and bacon is taking my nostrils hostage... a man who knows the way to my heart. ♥
What about you? Are you an early riser or a noon-ish napper? How do you start your days?

Awhhh, you hate me ha. Well, even I'll admit (as you said)"...I don't dance my kitchen using my spatula as a sub-microphone while frying bacon and eggs early in the morning" aha, but I do LOVE the playing soft music (skipping around until I realize like...huh? its too early Tues) mornings & evenings--latelatelate evenings. I hate naps! I'm like a child when it comes to them; think I'm going to MISS something.
I start my day opening my eyes up towards a cream coloured ceiling, greeted with the comforting smell of a fresh floral fragrance (any kind), I then check my mail etc, escape to the shower,---then? I eat whatever my stomach desires...and usually it's whatever it desires in the evening...very rarely do I actually EAT breakfast. I do LOVE veggies, so that takes up for my morning short comings.
Awww, I could never hate you babe! lol. Your mornings sound lovely. I rarely eat breakfast, besides by the time I stroll out of bed on weekends its lunch time anyways :)
Sorry to disappoint but i'm totally a morning person - it irritates everyone I know!
Love the picture though =]
Merci beaucoup for your lovely comment darling, I love Canadian accents - whereabouts do you live?
Stay safe and chic ma chérie,

I guess I'm a little of both - I HATE waking up... I always have to budget 20 minutes extra to hit the snooze button and gradually slither out of bed - but when I am up, I definitely like singing during breakfast preparations. :o) There is something lovely and wonderful about a warm, cozy bed - I love the feeling on Sunday mornings when you can roll over, look at the clock, and go back to sleep because you don't have to go anywhere, it's delicious!
Oh, I hope I haven't offended anyone by saying I *quite hate* morning people... I really don't! I was just trying to be a little silly about the whole thing. I do get a bit annoyed if someone is noisy in MY home first thing in the morning, but overall I am just lightly teasing :)
Take Care and thanks for the comments!
Diana
That picture is hilarious. I may just have to send it to a girl friend right now. :)
